i received my 2005 cr500af monday it looks awesome!! the only thing not perfect was the back of the pipe was hitting the radiator hose (not good for reliability) so with my trusty hammer i made a small (1/4" deep but 2"x2") dent, all fixed its on the back side so you cant see it at all and now there's a 1/4" gap between the pipe and hose (i think it will be ok) and the e-line carbon fiber guard fit was crappie at best it does not follow the pipe well at all you have to twist it to make it fit and sticks out at the end and to be honest doesn't offer as much coverage as i would have expected the top front is exposed to front wheel roost and side coverage is limited at best but that has absolutely nothing to do with service Honda ..its e-lines product and it has the correct part number on the back of it soooo o well i guess. i have a 2002 cr250 for sale sitting right next to the 500af and it has an eline pipe guard on it so i that's what i was comparing the pipe guard to (I've had several and this ones the worst fit by far) anyway the 500af looks awesome i haven't had a chance to ride it its apart getting a revalve and going through the bike to get it ready for spring. i will post my first ride impression as soon as i ride it. :ride:

I had a little trouble with e-line too. They gave me these bogus clamps that were 3x the size of the pipe at it's fattest. WTF? The guard fits well (after tightening the new clamps I bought))

Was the radiator hose problem service hondas fault or not, you would think they would have that taken care of. Please post pics ASAP. Thanks

How is the stock suspension on these bikes. I will be doing mostly dunes and am wondering if I would have to revalve the suspension. By the way I weigh 165. Thanks
