Just a reminder about the Red River Dirt Riders enduro this weekend near
Muenster, TX. Like last year, we're running this race in a qualifier
format. This means there's no timekeeping to concern yourself with. The
course has several test sections with connector trails in between. Ride at
your leisure until you reach a checkpoint. When you're ready, the race crew
will clock you into the test section. Ride your balls off until you're
clocked out by the crew at the end of the test. Then, spodely go to the
next test section and so on. The rider with the fastest collective test
section times wins his class. We're using trail for the long course that
hasn't been raced on in over ten years. The short course crowd will see
terrain they've never seen at a Red River race before.
Every entrant gets a color 5x7 action photo in a matted 8x10 acrylic box
frame. Trophy placing riders will receive a special trophy frame for their
photos.
We're also holding a GP fun race on Saturday. It's a three-mile loop with
some woods, some shallow creek, some sand, and some wide open fire road.
Something for everyone.
Details are on the TSCEC web site at www.tscec.org.
The weather promises to be better than it has been in many years, so don't
miss this one.
