I Recently bought a FMF Fatty Pipe for my 1994 KDX 200. I would have been impressed, but I first made the stock pipe mod in KDX tech tips section. Yea, maybe the Fatty made the bike rev higher, but otherwise the performance was about the same. I have been thinking about buying a FMF Turbine Core silencer for my KDX, but thought of removing the reverse flow area in my stock silencer before spending the $. What section would I remove (description/picture). Has anyone tried this and recommendations/comments.

I did it and it worked great.

There is a section in the silencer where it is apparent.

Cut out the entire middle section.....

Does it sound like an incomplete description ??? Just open it up and look at it... it's that easy.
