Removing window tint
Ok, I'm trying to remove some ugly purple tint that was on my wife's car when she bought it. I've used a hairdrier to ease the removal, but after peeling the tint off, there's a very thin layer that remained. It looked like it was just some of the adhesive left on the window, but after looking at it from the outside (and later scraping it with a razor blade) it's actually more tint. Is there a secret to removing that stuff? Something that will eat through that thin layer so I can just wipe it off? I've tried Goo Gone, but it doesn't help at all. Thanks. BTW, the window has one of those defrosters on it, so I need to be careful. Jeremy Jeremy
