Replacing an o-ring on my engine cover behind my clutch, does it need any grease on it? :bang:

if you feel like it, sure - its not really necessary unless you can't get it to stay in place - a SMALL dab can help. for engine sealing O-rings, I usually put a little fresh oil on them.

If you bought an o.e.m. seal you will find it seals perfectly. So, it's up to you.
Can't hurt to smear a little grease to improve the seal.
