I have a question about replacing the brake shoes on my RM60 for anyone that has done it before. I already have the shoes and everything, is it as easy as pulling out the old shoes and putting in the new ones or is there more to it then that?
well on my dads 1980 Susuki PE 250 there was a little clip that held them in place and i just uncliped it and out came the old ones and in went the new ones.but havent had any problems yet
very easy, just take the wheel off, take out the allen bole pin things, and they fall out... then just do the reverse and your done. make sure to NOT hit the brake lever or else the piston will close, and you will need to pry it back open to get the disk back in. also rememer to pump the brakes back up when your done.
