i have to do a research project for school. i need info and sites! i need anything to do with dirtbikes. like gear info,the bikes,the riders,ect

Try the AMA site-sorry, don't know the address, it's pretty good, and just try typing things like-Info. on motocross at yahoo. I had to do a speech a few monthes back on riding, and there aren't too many sites, most of your common knowledge will help though, my speech had to be 5 min. long, I didn't think I'd even make 3, turns out it was 15 min. long.

Who started them?
Why were they first made?
What company sells the most overall?
What are all the saftey gear and how do they help?
What are the big differences between a 2 stoke and a 4 stroke?
What are all the companies that make them?
