need some help.... i can hit the rev limiter and it sound normal if the bike is in neutral or the clutch is pulled in. If i hit it in the air like if im trying to bring the front end up it sounds like the bike cuts in and out. If the clutch is in its fast like normal. if its in the air and i give it gas is slow and stuters.

the inertia of the rear wheel causes it to rev higher than it does when the bikes in your garage and the clutch is pulled in. Then (in the garage) the timing change is not enough to kill the engine.

put on a larger countershaft sprocket and that will lower your RPM for the same speed
