I was given an 81 honda cr80r the other day and managed to get it started. once started it quickly revs up real high. I use the kill switch to stop it, check it and try again. it does the same thing, so I twist the throttle and itll rev higher. the previous owner said the original carb died on him and the new one on there is aparently to big for it(keihin PE carb). when not running , fuel on, it floods out onto the filter? I was wondering if its the floats causing the high idle and flooding. or do I need the original carb for it? Id reall ylike to ride this bike, any help is very apreciated.
