I was woundering if anyone else uses an mp3 player while they ride? I have thought about it, But I am concerned that I may not hear anouther bike on the trail, or some other safety thing even at low volume. Any thoughts as to if this is just like listening at a resonable volume in your car or is this a bad idea?

I would love to listen to mine , just a little afraid
now the songs that go on in my head are :
Blaze entire album "silicon messiah","tenth demension"
Iron Maiden any song will do
Led Zepplin any song again
jack johnson "mud football" and a few others
Korn "untouchables"
Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals "live from Mars"


Ok I admit it I like it all, even country music, comes from being a professional Bass player for 10 years .
