rm250 kickstart jammed

i have a 2000 rm 250. was riding it when it locked up all of a sudden. when i was going to kick it over the kickstart was locked up. still wont budge at all. was wanting ideas on what it could it be! itll push start, but is a bitch! any ideas??

Just the kicker? I'd not even try to bumb start. Pull the kicker and the pipe, take water and oil out and open the engine cover clutch side. Than have a look what happened.

sounds like the motor seized and you can bump start but not kick over. Will it run after you bump start it? does it seize after bump start? Need a bit more info.

Was the motor cold or super hot when it seized up?

Either way, based on what you said it sounds like you should at least remove the cylinder and inspect.

Cross your fingers and hope for the best.
