yeah def ride it and see what happens, I still think the 178 is going to be fat on the top end. Also I wouldnt advise you firing it up in the driveway and letting the bike sit to long while revving it and such, they tend to overheat pretty easily without any air flow going to the RAD

I am haveing the same problem with my 00' cr 125 but it was doing it befor the new top end as well as now could it be the same thing

Not sure. I checked my powervalve again yesterday and it was working, but I'm thinking that maybe I don't have enough tension on the spring. I'm going to experiment with it this weekend.

The tension wont cause it to bog out, i still think your jetting is rich on the top end
