I recently replaced my son's '03 XR100 with an '04 RM85L. This is the first 2 stroke in the family (I ride a yzf). I'm mixing about 4oz per gallon of yamaha 2 stroke oil. After our first moto practice (where the bike ran great) it became hard to start. I checked the plug and it was totally spooged. I drained the carb, diluted the fuel a bit, and replaced the plug. Good to go. Yesterday at practice the bike started and ran fine until a stall in our second moto. could NOT restart the bike... plug is fouled.

I need to understand the basics here. Any help is appreciated as always.

Happy holidays

check your manual, you will probably have to change the needle clip position. Im not sure about suzuki's but yamaha's manual explains what you are looking for in jetting very well.

My 03 RM manual is very good at explaining jetting so I would check your manual.
