Always sunflower seeds-- whether on a road trip for biking or not. Usually wash 'em down with Lemon-Lime Gatorade.

Hey Elk (et. al) I read your posts on your Phelan ride. Sounded great! (except for the chilly weather) I like the desert heat. My sister and bro-in-law(rides a Dr350 and DT1/2 vintage) live in Apple Valley and we still have our property in El Mirage(right next to Murphy's Bar). I make it out to CA once in a while and next time I'll try to hook up with you guys.

The more the merrier! We might be trying an Ocotillo Wells ride after the new year so watch the posts. Hope to see you out here sometime.
