Rod Thrust specs?

99 kx125, the rod endplay or thrust is .023in, I belive thats acceptable, no up and down play at all, but, when gripping the top of the rod and moveing it side to side it has significant play, in other words I can rock it back and forth on the crank. the bottem end was quiet before teardown, any thoughts? ok? or on it's way out? thanks

There should be a specification in the owners manual. I think it ill not be a problem but I'm not 100% sure.
