round rotors vs wave

Hi everyone thinking about putting wave rotors on my XR front and back. I would appreciate any feedback on likes or dislikes of Gaffer wave rotors vs stock replacement.

I think wave rotors have less braking surface area but get rid of the heat quicker. In your case the stock one will work better in mud and the wave one would be better for high heat and constant use witch would mean less brake fade. I cant remeber but i think the XR250 has a great front brake calipar so for what its worth a wave might be good in your location.
