dep'd on how badly it is corroded; if it is missing metal, then yes...use a wire brush and clean it, then see how much it is damaged. to get it out, soak it with PB Blaster, then put two nuts on it (they will lock together), and unscrew it...b sure and apply a thin layer of antiseize to the new one, and u wont have this prob anymore...
