I'm up there on business through the 5th. Nvr? Mr.WR? Anybody else care to do some trail riding? Also, it's from there to Reno, if that works for anybody. That'll be on the 7th, hopefully, but can be pushed up if need be. I'll be putting up a Reno-on-the-7th query, too.

I should be available to ride 10-6/10-7. Can show you some Georgetown trails, not to far from Sacrotomato.

Excellent! Strick informs me that we're on for Reno -- so bringing the bike it is! Sunday's best if that works for you.

Elevations range from 2,500 - 4,500 feet per the USFS trail map. Most trails probably 3,000 -3,500 feet. Early October temps could vary in a wide range, from freezing to 100 degrees.

FWIW, todays high is forecast in the 80's with a low in the 50's.

There are some excellent trails there - you should have a good time.

Hey Mojo, got to re-visit the flume up there. Have a good 50 mile loop in mind. Maybe we can meet up at Georgetown hotel or something, say 10am? Longtime, I'll send you some directions, just e-mail me where you're at in Sac. By the way, rained today for my ride at Deer Creek:) 450exc with Scotts & e-start is like cheating, the ultimate senior ride!

I'm still faster than you on my outdated '99 WR400 :p Of course maybe you planted the rock I kicked in the middle of the trail to slow me down.....

Brian, my wife told me it's not the speed of the rider that counts but how he uses it ;)

FremontGuy -- I like your 10am idea since I'll be imposing on some married friends Sat. nite and don't want to wake them all too early. Also -- can we take a leisurely first loop? I haven't ridden in months. If Mr. WR and others are thinking of coming, maybe you all could do some more hardcore stuff the second loop? (personally I'm thinking 35-40 miles would be nice -- but you're the boss). Lastly -- is there any chance I can drop my bike off to you on Friday afternoon? Please call me tomorrow at 949-322-4622 and we can sew up these and other details.

Gunny -- I hope to finally meet you! [no forced march --err, MrWr's noted rides, though, eh? ;>) ].

p.s. I'll be offline after tomorrow am as I hit the road. Please all, contact me by cell listed above. DF

MojoRoost, ride is still planned for 9am @ GT meeting. Headed to Bald mountain staging area off of Wentworth Rd. So, either area for meeting would work.
