sandblasting clutch plates

Does anybody sandblast there steel clutch plates? I have been thinking of trying it out. Does this sound like a good idea or am I just going crazy? Thanks

Try this use a flat surface and a feeler gauge. If you can slip the feeler guage anywhere under the plate replace the plate! They are cheap.
