Scratched Carb. Slide

My carb. slide is scratched up some and the scratches are a copper color and I believe this might be one of the reasons my throttle is sticking. Is it possible to fix this problem? If so, does anyone know how I could do it? Thanks! :)

Those scratches are wear marks. If it is showing a copper color, this means the slide is wearing through the plating. It's worn out.

Replacing the slide with a new one should cure the problem.
