"somebody tell me why they put speed changes in the middle of a reset? Is that to change the amount of time you have available in the reset? Also could anybody please explain:"
Yes, the speed changing in the middle of the reset will affect the amount of time at the reset. The slower the speed average, the more time you have for a given reset. I don't know why they wouldn't just make the reset longer.
"114.53 reset to 115.97
113.5 free time 116.6
116.6 reset to 122.2
Why not just:
113.5 reset to 122.2
it's all at 24mph no speed changes.
Are there possible checks in there? What am I missing?"
A little weird. It looks like from 113.5 to 114.53 you have free time, meaning no checks. Then at 114.53 you reset to 115.97. Then from 115.97 to 116.6 you have free time, with no checks. And then at 116.6 you reset to 122.2
A reset from 113.5 to 122.2 wouldn't do the same thing because you still have to travel those free time areas.
I'm going to miss this run, because I'm doing the 2-day Corduroy Enduron in Ontario. 36kph the whole way with pauses for gas stops is all you have to program.
