Seat Foam Install

Good morning all.
I received my tall seat foam yesterday and will change it this weekend. I have never changed the actual foam, just seat covers.
Is the foam glued to the base? If so, what type of glue?
How do I best remove the stock foam?

It's very lightly glued to the base and can be easily pulled off since its mostly the seat cover that keeps it in place. upholstery glue
