Personally, I like the stock seat (cover) on my 220, doea a gripper seat make a difference?

I really love my grip seat. You dont slide around near as much. Have to make sure your pants are on tight if you sliding around.

It personal preference. The gripper will keep you from sliding. However, if you need to slide back to duck under a tree limb, the gripper will keep you from being able to do that. Personally, I like the gripper all things being equal. Hpwever, if you're happy with what you have, why spend money?
