Setting up a old CR for enduro

I am looking to set up my 1990 CR 250 for Novice Enduro racing, aside from bark busters and a large tank (which I have both of) what else would people suggest I need to do to my bike. Thanks in advance

I thought someone would say that, anyone know of some on the cheaper end that will fit, I am on a budget.

Jetting kit,... flywheel weight,... chain/sprocket,.. and a skid plate,.. minimally

I second the flywheel weight. I added one to my 97 CR and it helped tame the bike down for tight woods riding. The weight smooths out the bottom end so you don't get such a violent hit and makes it more tractable-
