shipping a bike to Canada?

Has anyone here shipped a bike from the states to Canada. I want to ship my dual-sport bike to Calgary for a ride up to Inuvik this summer. I have read that there is a 400 mile dirt roard from Dawson City to Inuvik... anyway sounds like it could be fun to ride above the Arctic Circle.

I think you're referring to the Dempster Highway. Looks like a fun trip, brings lots of emergency supplies! :eek:

Thanks for the info. You are right it is the Dempster Highway after that I am going to ride to BC and out to Bella Coola then probably ferry down to Vancover Island explore that for a few days and then ride back to Alberta.

sideways i notice from your website you do alot of riding in exotic places-im very impressed-i have never rode in another country but do plan on changing that this summer.
