Anyone have any experience with the Arai VX-PRO helmet?
I was comparing it with the Shoei VFX-DT and wondered which would be the better choice. Also, what is the difference between the Shoei VFX-DT and the
Shoei V-MOTO? Thanks, Greg
I have the V-Moto and I am very pleased with it. I am not 100% sure what the difference is between the two Shoei helmets either? The Shoei is not as light as compared to a M2R (my last helmet).
I love my Arai. Handbuilt and each helmet is inspected. From what I understand Shoei and Arai are the two brands that far exceed the requirements of Snell. I'm going to stick with Arai, but you probably can't go wrong with either brand.
I have the arai vx moto pro and absolutely love it. It is over three years old, and I should retire it, but all of my other helmets (even my new hjc \ free helmet) just arent as comfortable, nor do they flow as much air. As to the shoei (for me), it doesnt fit my egg shaped head comfortably. I cant make myself like them. Luckily, as to comfort, the arai is top notch for me.
