Showa fork oil change

Im in the process of taking my forks off the triple tree on my 00 cr250 and was wondering if someone can give some info about changing my fork oil? I just bought a manual for it but it wont be here for about a week.

I just did mine this last weekend, not too hard really. If you have any questions, feel free to post here or e-mail me while it's still fresh on my mind.

Save yourself a headache and make sure to loosen your fork caps before you take them out of the triple clamps...

also buy the right tools. The 50mm wrench cap and the bottom slot tool. Other than that it's a breeze

No doubt, before I started doing my own I took my 98's forks in and they came back with scratches and rounded off edges on the fork caps and the rebound adjusters. :flame:
