Do you get the same effect with a short or long silencer as with the rev or torque pipe on performance?
Short silencer improve bottom or top end and vica versa?

Dont preach on sound please....

I doubt there's any difference.
For example, I ran up/down a dirt road without my silencer and the only difference noted was quicker response at high revs.

What was the verdict on the fork seals? Did you manage?
Sorry to hear about the drilling damage. Hopefully no oil leaks...

Turbine Core ....no difference. Power Core.......noticeable improvement.

As far as I know, the non-technical answer is, short silencer increases low end, while a longer silencer helps with top end rev.  If you really want to know the mechanics behind how these changes effect things like exhaust temp and back pressure, you need to post in one of Rich's forums.  He'll set you up with the answer in more technical terms.

It turned out OK. The drilling damage wasn't as far as the height of the seal.
