Hi,

I just got my first bike. Yamaha YZ250 06'
I would like to have some tips about what are the recomended sizes of front and rear sprockets that I should get.
I ride fields and barely go into tracks. So I'm looking for something which is an intermediate between fast acceleration and speed.

Thanks

i have a 99 yz250 and i put a 42 on the back and i went pretty fast but you can try like 48 in the back and if you dont like that then go up a tooth in the front

If you want more acceleration add a few teeth to the rear or drop a tooth in the front. If you want it to go faster, do the oposite.

if that really is your first bike, then the speed and acceleration that it has stock will be more than sufficient to scare the dookie out of ya
