The forks on my 2000 yz250 feel like there only on the springs, do I need to change the oil, new seals, bleed them? The weight of the bike keeps them down somewhat and when I push them down they don't come all the way back up. Thanks
Hope someone answers soon.
Is there even springs?

Can you turn the rebound adjuster screw? Don't force it if it won't turn. Break down and service the forks, at a minimum change the oil. Sounds like the rebound circuit is gummed up with crud or possibly damaged.

Your sseals are toast, and you are way overdue for an fork oil change.
Fork seals need to add a nice thin film of oil on the tubes...at all times. If the do not, then replace them. You will have performance issues.
It is most common for OEM seals or OEM wannabe seals to be too loose and leak right away.

There are other alternatives out there.
