Source for non-Teflon lower Heim Bearings

Hirschmann Engineering, 1558 Buffalo Grove, Illinois, 60089. Telephone 847-419-9890, fax: 847-419-9895. the item number is 716SC, Description is SC-16 spherical bearing. Unit price is $19.20. They take credit cards and ship via UPS. They also sell the SCP-16, which is the teflon coated bearing. The load capacity for the bronze SC-16 is 46,000 KG. The load capacity for the teflon coated bearing is only 33,000 KG. Their web site is at : http://www.globalspec.com/Frames?URL=/ProductFinder/FindProducts?query=spherical%20plain%20bearing

This was taken from another well know KTM board and needs to get around as it is almost impossible to find these things that are not Teflon coated.

Does anyone know what the different series letters mean? They are d, D1, B, C, d1 and K, just as typed.

Does anyone know if they can supply the upper shock mount bearing? Also the Part number would be nice if known? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I bought one of their greasable bronze bearings for my OO recently. They were very easy to deal with...simply tell them what you are looking for for motorcycle ...they immediately know its for a KTM and what the part # is. Clearly - they realize there is a nice little niche market for them and have paid attention to it.

Unit74, I tested the link again and it works, you do however need MS-Word to view the document.
