Don't know their whole history but they came on the scene in the US at the end of the 60's. I rode a 200cc Sherpa and a 250cc Pursang for a shop in Paramount California named, Barney's Speed Equipment. Probably one of the best handling short track bikes I have ever ridden including framers. Rode them on the local TT scrambles tracks too. Beautiful little motorcycle with it's highly polished engine cases. There were a lot of Bultacos and Ossas in those days.

A lot of riders used them for Pro TT and short track in the Novice class. They wern't fast enough to keep up with Yamaha twins on the half mile but they had excellent torque for the smaller tracks.

spanish short track bikes: need help

hi,

I try to have account or technical opinions of vintage or actual racers on Bultaco, Ossa or Montesa in short track racing.

Outside the AHRMA site, where can i find photos and addresses of club or shops which have spanish short track bikes.

Thanks in advance ;)
