I am wondering if anybody out there can answer this question for me.I went to the cycle dealership and was gonna buy a fmf pipe and air filter for my crf230 to get a little boost in performance but the guy i talked to said seeing as i do my riding on state land and have to have a spark arrester that with the arrester in it wouldnt help to put the new exaust in due to the back pressure from the arrester. Is this true?
Are any mods gonna help?

I read test in a magazine(dirt rider or dirt bike?) where they put a fmf Q on a crf 150 and found an noticable differance in how it ran (for the better). I think you will find that the stock system is chocked off more than any aftermarket system.

i am
in the process of installing a white bros r-4 pipe and rejetting it.
it has made a big difference already and i am still dialing it in.
honda also has a technical service bulletin on removing the stock baffle and rejetting
to make it run like it should!
