That site could be my life! All but the MX stuff. I'm a MX newbie. The music, the movies, the TV shows and the cars. I'm looking back thinking: "God, where did the last fifteen years go?" I'm gonna go home and go through the photo albums tonight. Maybe throw on an Armored Saint album (yes, I still have a turntable) and drink a wine cooler (gak). Anybody wanna see some pix? Oh, I got some killer Big Lou pix from the late 80's-early 90's.

Oh, and you don't even want to bring up 80s hair. There are a few Papakeith fashion faux pas that should remain in the 80s!:eek:

Look at the pic of the RM maier Sidepanels 16 bucks And rad scoups for 7.99!!! What happened to that! God if plastic were that cheap I would have 4 different colours for my bike;)

Keith-You are the only person I've met that knew what that DRI tattoo was! Slayer? Yes. King Diamond? Yes. Metal Church? Yes, etc.
Technically, this wasn't the eighties, it was 1991, but I was in denial.:scream:

Some of that gear remindes me of my buddies gear bag, when you open it up you get blinded by all the bright colors. You almost need a pair of sunglass just to look at him when you see him with his gear on. His riding wardrobe is mostly made up of pinks and purples but hey, who really cares what you look like? As long as your out there just riding!!

Lori-Yes I do. That's only half the stack, too. I don't set up both cabinets unless I want to rearrange the furniture:D ! Reading through that website, it had been a long, long time since I saw the term "NWOBHM" (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal). Thank God for that. It spawned Metallica along with a bunch of others.

Wait until Jamie (Thunder 33) see's this again. He tore this picture apart the other day, noticing things that even I had forgotten about. Such as:
1) 8-bit Nintendo
2) Yellow flashing construction light
3) Beer bottle collection on top of entertainment center
4) Godzilla doll (Still got that)
5) Metallica poster (Pre Cliff Burton's death)
6) Black wristbands. Never know when you'll need a good set of black wristbands!

Oh man this brings the memories back. Like growing up in a little red neck town down in Fla., getting in fights because of my "LONG HAIR". Whats crazy is the BUBBAS where listening to early rap, but my friends and I where the outcasts for listenining to metal. And to top it off I rode bikes and the necks rode QUADS! These fools used to challenge me to racesall the time. Nothin beats the feeling you get when you give a guy a face full of muddy swamp water CR500 roost.
Never did get into the pink gear though, always had rather plain stuff, probably would have been all over the baggy LBZ stuff had it been available back then.
My friends and I tried the rock star thing, some of them still play in bands, but I realized early on that I was tone deaf and stuck to the bikes.

Believe it or not, I've kept vey short hair (actually, Marine Corps regulation short) since about one month after that photo. BTW-I prefer to be called "Mr. Foley"! You guys crack me up!:)

Reminds me of Junoir High and High school. I Listen to most of the bands that were listed above. I never played, but my friends were always in one band or another. I was not into dirtbikes at that time. I had one, just did not ride it much. I had a streetbike. Love the hair do Al. I did not cut my hair till about 6 years ago. I guess to prosect of a real job was the prompt for that. You could not even tell by looking now that I was a "metal thug" in the 80's and 90's. ;)
