Whats up boys. First off , i wanna thank you ALL for all the help i have been getting here lately, its so much help.

Went to the local Kawasaki Shop today knowing i had to buy some transmission oil......i ended up buying some Spectro SX Clutch Saver

1)Is this the right oil to put in the reservoir on the right side of my bike right in front of the kickstart? i have no other way of describing my transmission oil resveroir. Is it the right oil?

2) How much should i put in my bike? Right near the black cap on my bik eit says 0.70L so im assuming i put about 7/10ths of the bottle in my bike? (provided its a 1L bottle)

Thanks alot guys :p

Your best best would be to call up your kawasaki dealer, and have him walk you threw it on the phone. This way youll be sure your doing the right thing. If hes a knowladgeable dealer, he'll know exactly how much to put in if you ask him too. I also think that cluth saver is the right stuff, as far as that goes, but you could ask the dealer that question also.

just a thought

This is a fairly simple thing to do. You want to add 700cc, 700ml, or .7 quart in the filler hole. That oil will be fine aslong as it's not conventional motor oil.

As long as we are correcting things:

32 oz (1qt) = 946ml
.7 of 946ml = 662cc (rounded off) :)

Opps you right Jaybird I keep getting quart and liter confused :)

Motorcycle oil bottles come in liter size bottles(alittle over 1 quart). While automotive oil comes in quart size which is lower then 1000MLs so you should put .7 liter not .7 quart (thanks for correcting me Jaybird or should I say Rich!).

700cc is correct. You can add regular motor oil as long as it is not an EC oil. NO! I don't want to restart the great oil debate. :)

Look on the back of the bottle and it will say Energy Conserving in a circular star. Usually 10W-40 and 20W-50 are NOT EC oils, you can use them.

5W-30 and 10W-30 usually ARE EC oils, you shouldn't use them.
