Speed Tests, Havent done this is a while

Since comcast upgraded my connection (took a few days, but it's all good), thought I'd run some tests during different times of the day.

This is about the the average:

2005-08-05 16:32:02 EST: 6021 / 691
Your download speed : 6165505 bps, or 6021 kbps.
A 752.6 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 708267 bps, or 691 kbps.

Over 6Mbps! Down and 700K up. Gotta love it. Seems like not long ago, I was excited about a ISDN line getting 128K :) Then xDSL at 768K ...

I know parts of the country are upgradable to 8Mbps on Comcast, supposed to roll that out here in the near future.

How long is it going to be when we laugh at today's top speeds? 100Mbs is not far off!

Mine tested at 4720 kbps down and 355 kpbs up.

Similar results at both home and work using Roadrunner cable.
