Hi there,

I just picked up my bike a few days ago, its a TM 300 E, I love the bike its awesome, but it almost feels as though it is cut short on the top speed, I dont know, I am going to get a speedo/odo for it soon to see, but anyways, what would be the ideal sprocket sizes for this bike for the woods/trails and also If I make it a street legal bike. It needs new sprockets so now would be the time to change sizes, right now it is 12 front and 52 rear. Thanks.

if you want speed then go smaller on the back and bigger up front
if you want bottom end power then go bigger in the back and smaller up front
rule of thumb is........ 1 down in front = 3 up on rear

I am riding Enduro on almost every terrain.
The bike is DR-350 with little overbore.
I assembled 48 rear and 14 front sprockets.
It gives me 3.43:1 ration.
It pulls real hard but leaves some time to shift.
I think that 3.5:1 will work fine for you.
Try and feel.
