Hmm its the old conversion problem time for me:)
thats over 2mm i believe-you want it closer to 1mm than 2mm for the ideal squish.I would think if everything was optomised you could get it down to 1.2mm using pump gas, but you would need to change the shape of the dome and increase its volume to compensate for the amount you loose when closing up the squish gap.Its not easy to get it right.

I thought the squish was too high. I had Eric G. to do the work. When I got it back the bike had no top end power. (flat) I sent it back to him and he cut the dome to make it have less compression. Come to find out, the power valve was not working. Now I need to lower the squish back to what it was to get my bottom end back. Thanks for the reply. Mack
