Standard compression and rebound settings

i own a 1995 KDX 200
i want to tune my suspension, however it is hard to start,
with and to start from
any help would be appreciated

Start by reading a tutorial on what the adjustments do, adjust your bike as necessary. Tuning by a number of clicks that someone else says you should use is unlikely to be very effective.

But, if tuning by the numbers is what you're after....wibby got it done for 'ya.

Try this. Set everything at 10 clicks out from full firm and ride it. Fork comp @ 10, shock comp and rebound at 10. That should be a pretty good starting point.

Then read the off road tuning guide on the MX tech website and ride you bike.

Every time you change the clickers change then at least 2-3 clicks and evaluate whether its better or worse.

ONLY change one thing at a time. Don't do rebound and compression at the same time or you'll get confused. Your forks only have compression adjustment so assuming your springs are correct the front should be pretty easy.
