Same old questions: where are ya parking? What time? Do you mind a slug trailing behind?

I'd like to go both Saturday and Sunday this weekend... Bueller? Bueller?

Thanks!

Let me put it this way. I'll be going, either Friday or Saturday. I have a friend visiting from Oregon who may be able to get away to ride Friday, but if he can't, then I'm going up on Saturday.

I will be a definate maybe also (Saturday). Brian can not make it, but Jennifer will.

I will probably be doing a lot of sitting around the pits, as Jennifer is still getting used to riding, will be her second time and she mostly likes to ride around the field. :ride:

Maybe if the weather is still nasty, I will build a fire.

Actually, I'm going to go ahead and commit to Saturday. If I can go Friday, too, so much the better. But I'll be there Saturday. Looks like Brian and Grady (and Jennifer) are not going to make it this time. Alan will probably be there.

Excellent. Well, too bad about Grady/Brian. If Jennifer was little (like between 6 and 9) I was going to bring my 6 year, Dominic old too.

Sounds like a plan. Around 10-ish?

I'll try to be there by 9:30. Look for me through the 2nd gate, right side of the gravel road; I'll have my white van.

By the way, I'll probably also be there Friday, up front by the first gate. I'm going home Friday evening, but will be back Saturday. Have to take my wife to a Valentine dance Friday night (shudder).

Excellent about Saturday, JMD. I'll see ya there.

Anybody interested in Sunday too? So far, it sounds like I'm heading up there with some other non-DRN folks on Sunday.

Dad and Jennifer will still be going on Saturday. We were planning to ride today, but that got cancelled. I just send my cylinder head off to Clay at CM Machine to have him work his magic, but I may tag along and sit around anyway. Got to be at work again by 6:00, though.

Good deal, Brian. Hope to see you there Saturday. I always thought you needed a little head work, by the way. Glad to see you're finally getting it taken care of.

Me too, I'd have been embarassed to ride that thing around as poorly as it was running (hee hee hee).

Actually I haven't even seen the new scoot yet.

Running poorly is one thing it is not doing. Causing chronic pain from repeated arm-yanking, yes.

And Jim, knowing you would say something to that extent, I specifically specified (thats right, specifically specified) in my post "cylinder head" as in the head that goes on my cylinder. ie not the perfectly functional, and drop-dead good looking one that I keep above my shoulders. Thank you very much, sir.

Nice work, Gene. You'll have that thing like new again. Are you also installing the FWW?

How old is Jennifer?

Well, a few days late, but Jennifer is 15, but she just started riding, the last time (her first time as a rider), we went from the fields (the pits) over to the Trials area by way of fireroads.

Was quite an adventure for her current skills :yikes:

But she does want to go back, we never made it last weekend, but will plan again for the coming one. :ride:

"Head," "cylinder head," whatever. If you think your head is shaped like a cylinder, who am I to argue?

I think this coming weekend is "kids" weekend. with the young 'uns out to Rocky Ridge or something.

Traveling again, so the schedule doesn't allow for two-day dirt bike weekends anymore. D'oh.
