Stranded???

I have a KX250 (2000) does anybody know how far I can go on a tank of gas (2.1 gal.). I'm planning a trip to Mexico and need to go 50 miles before the first fuel stop. Will a 3.4 gal tank make it!!!

you are going to reveal some more things before anybody can venture to your question. how about the terrain? sandy, hilly, hardpack, speed, gravel roads slow technical rocks ect ect.

Proper jetting for that area will make a big difference.

I have the exact same bike with the 3.2 tank. 50 miles wont be any problem for the green machine and the larger tank.

I would think you wouldn't have a problem.  I have the 3.2 tank as well and would give you lots of spare gas.  BTW, the tank is for sale.  [email protected]

Investing in the larger tank would be wise just for the peace of mind it brings on the longer loops!
