yesterday i entered my first race on ym kdx 220.
after the race i noticed that i didnt have very much low end power as usual. thats not very like the 220 becuase it known to have alot of low end pull. it was acting 125 like, low power then it would suddenly kick in. it still has normal power from mid range to top end but not much over-rev. could it be rings or time for a new top end? i replaced the top end just this winter and the kdx isnt high tuned and should be able to last a year on piston and rings. i did play around with the air screw before the race but that should have that much affect on powe should it?? and i also adjusted the floats in the carb the day before the race. im pretty sure my bike was running normal before the race. any thoughts?
