Ok, I don't feel so bad now that I know I'm not the only one paying a ton for insurance. My first bike, '99 250 Ninja was a lot too. I have a perfect driving record. I'm kind of looking forward to the day I turn 25! My ins. will only be half as much then.

Insurance.....arggghhhh.... don't get me started! :think:

Always be sure to check what category the insurer is placing your bike in. If they can't find the correct model -- they'll just grab the "closest appearing" one.

I've had riding buddies with standard, upright street bikes classified as RR-crotch-rockets. The difference between the two categories was $1100 ....!!

Watch 'em like a hawk....and always double-check their work and your policies.
