This is new to me visiting a forum for assistance but I was advised this is the place to seek good advice.
I have a 1985 Suzuki RM250 which I have not started in about 4 years. Recently I replaced the head gasket, the piston and piston ring, the plug, and cleaned out the carb completely.
When I try to start the bike It just wont start. I have a good spark but realised the fuel seems to be getting down onto the crankshaft somehow. Is this normal?
Also, when I put a flame to the substance on the plug it wont burn. It seems to be a mix of fuel and water but I am certain the new head gasket is fine.
Can anyone help me....any ideas?
