Get a newer bike !!! Best move I ever made. Had an old 89 RM ...got a 01 for cheap.
Recently went newer. If you keep an eye out you can always find one for very little somewhere.
Newer is SOOOOO much easier to get parts spare wheels etc.
Plus engine and suspenion is more advanced. My old 01 had fresh tires,chain,susp reworhed on and on I let it go for $700 to a young fella cause I wanted to spread goodwill.
Just look a lot and you'll find one in decent shape for cheap !!!
