Its great having you as a very good friend and the rest of the KC riders. We are very fortunate to have such a great group of guys to go riding with.

I read stories of where guys have sold their bikes because they have no one to ride with.

I have met several DRN members in person and talk to others quite often. I enjoy this place and appreciate what all the members have done for me.

Rick is but one of the incredible folks in this family we have assembled here in KC this year. I don't think I could remember all of the acts of kindness from our many different members.
Here's one that sticks in my mind:
The Finger Lakes ride, I am in between the DRZ and getting the new KTM, I offer to go and be the burger flipper, and buy the burgers as my contribution. Rick picks up the burgers for me, refuses to take any money for them, and then proceeds to give me abou $20 worth of plugs for my upcoming 2-stroke adventure!
And then there was the time he played a pivotal role in getting Travis Pastrana to visit CobraKid...Everyone should have friends like Rick.
This isn't the first time I've said this this weekend, but you guys are my family. (Don't go getting all moist on me now)

Yeah, I had a pivotal role in getting Travis P. to come visit Cobrakid while in the hospital, but don't forget, I had help from _Solo_, Nikki, Oldguy, Okie, and Thump. _Solo_ and I wrote letters to Travis, Nikki put me in contact with Oldguy who hand delivered the letters to Travis and his mom which iced the cake. Nikki told me if Oldguy wasn't successful, that she would personally see that Travis got the letters. Way to go, what a team effort.

Okie, Thump, and Mully helped me in guided support and with their suggestions, had a raffle during DirtWeek that raised Cobrakid around $820 to help with his medical expenses. I hope Cobrakid thanked everyone for the money.

Thunder33 is correct, I think I spend more time helping others than actual riding time. Very seriously, people say I need to attach a big RED CROSS on the back of my jersey and carry a paramedics bag on my bike. LOL. :)

Should we ask Holeshot what they think of him?;)

I already know what Holeshot thinks of me. He personally thanked me for making him lost a valuable customer. I think he was more valuable with the shipping charges they would of stuck him with.

Also got a note from their webmaster saying he was sorry this envolved. I told him there were better KTM sites on other websites. :p
