In the right crank case for my 98 cr 125 there is a housing for the power valve actuating arm, at the bottom of it(going into the case) there is a little drainage hole, does anyone know where this goes? I put some kerosene into it to clean it out because it was pretty dirty and it all disappeared! :scream:

yep, ive looked at that, it looks like it opens up into a larger cavity, but where does that go to? Does it just go into that cavity and stay there?

Yes it has a drain plug on the front of the engine case-the bolt is the same as coolant drain bolt.It needs to be removed and left to drain occasionally.

Yea Marcus is right, I had one on my CR engine but for some reason I never had to unscrew it cause nothing would drain out .

I think that screw is to allow any unburnt 2 stroke oil to be drained of the power valve and linkage etc on that side!
