. . . is that I feel better now than before I crashed! I spend an hour in the gym 4 days a week before work working on cardio as well as weights, and I am almost completely back to normal! My stamina is definitely higher than it was before, my weights are the same as pre-crash (except for single-leg workouts, my left leg is slightly behind still) and I am at the point where I can bump up my weights all the time. Of course the extra padding around my middle isn't going away, but oh well. Soon.
I spent the whole morning today doing just legs and cardio (bike/glider) and wasn't even winded. I'm soooo thrilled.
Of course, I haven't been on a bike again yet (this weekend will be the test) so I'm sure all those muscles will yell and complain and make me hurt. Oh well. I might try snowboarding again too--if I can ride, why not board as well?
Sorry, didn't mean to brag, I'm just soooo happy to be "normal" again and not half crippled.
