I guess if you've raced more than a couple of times, you had some near misses in the first turn. Last Saturday was my first. I survived/avoided this pile up and went on to take 3rd.

The track photographer captured a good bit of the action (I'm 318) Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.

I hate the first turn.

I think they should do away with it and start the race at the second turn.

that is some serious digging 19 on the kawi was doing. in the first photo of the pile up it looks like a submarine pushing water. nice job scooting past 'em.
