WooHoo Papakeith. I saw a month or so ago you posting that you were close on this. Way to go!
I took my ground school in...crap... My brain is so old I can't remember the year anymore- let's just say 1979 for the fun of it. I was way too poor to actually be able to afford air time so abandoned that notion pretty darn quick.....Somehow, the private pilot's license reappeared on my "Before I Die" list last year. Hadn't really been thinking about it. Just meandered onto the list uninvited.
However, of items lingering in the airborne category of the BID list, skydiving appears infinitely more likely to earn a checkmark first. In the short run, leaping out of a plane is far easier on the budget than learning to fly one. Plus, I can simply strap my heaving hulk of aging rotten flesh to someone else and get pushed out of a plane. No real talent, knowledge, or skill involved in that!! All the requirements to make it Very Doable for this completely talentless old gal. ;)
Congrats again! Now .... How long until your instrument rating??!!
